The door opener works as expected and the service and quick delivery from Open Door Discount was awesome.

I install both units this weekend. While installation was pretty easy, the instructions for setting the open and close limits along with the close force calibration is very confusing and basically does not work as described. Had to screw with it a lot to get them to accept the force down setting and complete that. Without that the opener will not work. Also the tension roller switches are basically useless. Cannot implement them with my standard doors for no place to put them where the roller can be in contact with cable, so i had to simple rig them to be "open" all the time. Due to these two issues, I gave it a 4 instead of a 5.

PROS: These things are amazingly quiet. If you're considering buying them, don't think twice -- just get them -- you will not be disappointed.
CONS: No so much cons, but potential gotchas for the DIYer. First, our doors turned out not to be "standard" doors. We have doors by Overhead Door Company and the cable drums and cables are on the outside of the track. The installation expects the cable to be on the inside of the track. We also discovered that our cable drums wound the cable counterclockwise (cable laid on the front of drum. The new openers expect it to be the opposite. So we had to swap our torsion springs from left to right on both doors to get the cable winding configured correctly. We were not able to install the door locks on the tracks because of the cable being on the outside of the tracks and we had to position the cable tension sensor on the opposite side of each door (away from the opener) so there was room for them to function properly.
NET/NET: Awesome product. I would and have recommended them to others. If your not comfortable with tools and ladders -- hire a professional to do the install!
