Work on the first try. There is a slight delay when the button is depressed. I assume this is caused by the signal having to travel from one device to the other.

Have a 2013 Ford F150 and installed 2 brand new chamberlain garage door openers that operate on the new frequencies. I have 2 separate garages on different sides of the house, so needed a unit for each garage door opener. But when I plugged it in, no issues... worked flawlessly.

I was able to program my new craftsman opener. I plugged it in the outlet above the opener. Then I followed the car manual. I also followed what another review said and stepped over the beam.

I was unable to program my new Chamberlain garage door opener to the Car2U buttons in my 2011 Ford Escape and this repeater did the trick. There's a bit of a delay (1-2 seconds), but it beats having a separate remote clipped to my visor. I checked with the Open Door Remote team that this was the item I needed and they confirmed it was. The price was reasonable and the free shipping was very timely.

I'm not sure why my new Lift Master opener didn't have the Car2U capability built in - - but it didn't. Open Door Discount Remotes offers the Car2U repeater at a very competitive price - - so I went with it and I'm glad I did. As one of the previous reviewers pointed out, DON'T BREAK THE PHOTO ELECTRIC SAFETY BEAM when setting up your repeater. The procedure won't work if you break the beam.

This device works and finally has me connected again to my new Chamberlain garage door opener in my 2008 Chevy Silverado. Easy to install, just plug into an electrical outlet near the opener and then go through the program instructions for your vehicle. Took 10 minuets to set up. I am still disappointed that this new expensive Chamberlain opener that I bought didn’t have this capability built into it.

The repeater works great, EZ to program, range is the same as before. Open Door Discount Remote Co. was great to work with, Discount price, and fast FREE shipping.

Unit works great but don't break the sensor beam while programing. It won't work. Step over the beam or have some one in the garage. This is with a 2010 ford and 2017 craftsman door opener

I got a new Chamberin open it was compatible with my 2016 RAM 3500 but not my 2013 Yukon Denali. The Car2U repeater allows the Denali to operate the opener. Problem solved. Very easy to install and program!
