  1. Great Compact Remote 5 Star Review

Small remote was easy to set up with my older garage door opener. It has the same range as my larger bulky remote but is very small/key chain size.

I was also happy with Open Door Discount Remotes. They shipped as promised at a great price.

  2. Great for motorcycle 5 Star Review

Needed a garage remote for my motorcycle. This was the easiest and most cost effective way to do it. Had no problem programming to my liftmaster openers. As long as it holds up over time I won't have anything bad to say bad about it

  3. Great Little Gadget 5 Star Review

Had trouble programming this little remote because I have two garage door openers in close proximity. The great thing was the Liftmaster 800 number. A rep walked me thru the process and solved the problem. The key point for anyone in the same situation was that you unplug the unit next to the one you are trying to program. The remote is small and works great.

I have a Liftmaster garage door opener. the mini-remote programmed easily, exactly as instructed! Works perfectly! It is easy to carry, instead of leaving it vulnerable in the car.

  5. Love my mini remote 4 Star Review

I like the remote a lot once I figured out how to program it with my LiftMaster model 8550. It might be a bit difficult to program depending your model. Some had reported that it worked exactly as LiftMaster video and written direction so consider yourself lucky if it does.

I've almost given up but the thought of costs and inconvenience to returning anything is a major pain so postage and time costs had pushed me forward to tried and tried again..

My recommendation is to follow the manufacture instruction for your model first but if all else fails then do a little research and try at least 1/2 dozen time. I think it would work for most models it claimed it would work. I had tried at least a dozen times before I figured it out how my model programming works. It can be confusing even with the model manual instruction as to the exact time to press the button to lock in your programming code. If you press too early or too late then both options will fail. Too early meaning you press it before it lock in the code and too late will caused it to jump to the next code and round and round it goes. It is easier to program the door because the moment the door open it usually the moment you need to press the button to lock in the code. You can program the second button for another door or light. Liftmaster supports stated it is not possible to program the light but I got it to work by the same process as programming the door except it is harder because the light clicked on and off at various times during the programming process and also on off when it found the code so I have to guess to when to click the buttons to lock in the code. It took a bunch of times and can be very frustrating but I am stubborn finally got it done. Yay!

I knock of 1 star because it is a bit too stiff for me. I think they make less sensitive because a bunch of people complaining about pocket and accidental clicks, etc. It usually won't work on my first click. I have to click it a bit harder on my second try to get the remote to work. I think they need to find some middle ground between too sensitive and too stiff to make it perfect. I do prefer too stiff over too sensitive though.
